Slow Cooker Shrimp & Rice Casserole

This one was a bit of a gamble.  I wasn’t sure how the frozen shrimp and uncooked rice would cook up during the day.  But it turned out just perfectly and was one of the easiest recipes I’ve ever made.

Adapted from this recipe.

NO. NO. NO. Do not put cooked shrimp in this casserole. Use thawed shrimp which have been deveined and are easy to peel. Place them in raw in the slow cooker. Delightful meal.

  11. The dish was full of flavor but the rice came out too mushy. I think it would’ve came out better if I just made everything via stove top. I Will try again…perhaps without the slow cooker.
